Jason Korb

Principal

Jason Korb is the Principal of Capstone Communities LLC, where he has led more than $150 million in market-rate, mixed-income, and affordable housing developments across Massachusetts since founding the company in 2010. He specializes in complex affordable housing transactions involving multiple public financing sources.

Before founding Capstone, Jason was Vice President of Acquisitions at Beacon Communities, where he helped develop and preserve more than 600 apartment homes totaling over $100 million.

Jason serves on the Board of Directors of 2Life Communities and is a former Director of CHAPA and Trustee of the Newton Affordable Housing Trust. He holds an MS from MIT's Center for Real Estate and a BA from the University of Michigan. His MIT thesis, The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit: HERA, ARRA, and Beyond, has been cited by Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies and the U.S. Senate Budget Committee.

Jason is an instrument-rated private pilot who volunteers with SkyHope, providing free medical and compassion flights for patients and veterans. Outside of work, he enjoys flying, hitting the slopes, and spending time with his wife, Eva, their two children, and their dog, Tiki.

 
 

William Kennerly

Vice President of Operations

William Kennerly is Vice President of Operations at Capstone, where he oversees the day-to-day operations and asset management of the firm's affordable housing portfolio while supporting its market-rate portfolio. He also contributes to the company's development efforts across a variety of projects. Since joining Capstone in 2023, William has played a key role in supporting the firm's operational and strategic initiatives.

William brings experience in real estate operations, leasing, property management, and asset management. His work focuses on operational excellence, portfolio performance, and supporting the successful execution of development initiatives.

Outside of work, William enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places and experiences, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Penny.

 
 

Ali Lepage

Intern

Ali LePage is an intern at Capstone Communities, where she assists with the management of the firm's market-rate portfolio and funding efforts for its affordable housing portfolio. In her role, she also supports accounting processes and administrative tasks related to the company's operations.

Ali is an undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut, where she is pursuing a degree in Accounting with a minor in Real Estate and Urban Economics. Her academic background and interest in real estate provide a strong foundation for her work at Capstone and her growing interest in affordable housing development.
